The Forgotten Questions
Thank you for visiting this site. What you will find here is not a system of belief, nor an attempt to persuade, convert, or mystify, but a sincere effort to place before you certain enduring principles and observations that have profoundly shaped my life and understanding.
At the heart of this work lies Kabbalah, though references will be drawn from philosophy, science, religion, literature, music, and the reflections of great thinkers across many ages, all helping to illustrate and uphold certain central principles. For the endeavours of humanity, each in their own way, point towards something deeper within existence itself and no single discipline, race, creed or tradition possesses the whole truth, but only carries fragments of it, and nothing of genuine value should be discarded lightly for all of mans knowledge lead up to the great main highway yet before the race.
Modern life has distanced man from ancient abiding principles, and much has been forgotten or obscured beneath noise, distraction, and the growing certainty that reality consists only of what can be measured, weighed, or observed. Yet beneath this restless surface, the deeper questions of life and existence remain as alive now as they were thousands of years ago. What underlies life itself? What animates nature, consciousness, and the strange movement of existence? What is it that drives all things forward, and what is our place within it? These are among the oldest questions humanity has ever asked, yet they have become the forgotten questions of the modern world.
Much misunderstanding has also arisen around the ancient traditions across the world, giving rise to endless and needless conflict, when in truth many of these traditions speak of the same enduring principles, though through different languages, cultures, symbols, and perspectives. Indeed, much of what is shared here may already feel strangely familiar, not because it belongs to any one people or doctrine, but because certain truths echo again and again throughout human history and they appear wherever man has sincerely searched for meaning.
This site wishes to revisit those questions plainly and honestly as humanity stands at the threshold of immense discovery, yet for all our advancement we still perceive only a fraction of the greater whole. Science, art, religion, philosophy, and the long march of invention, innovation, and human progress built slowly across millennia and contributed to by countless people reveal only passing glimpses of an underlying reality that exceeds the boundaries of any single field of knowledge nay more, the truth is beyond us in our current state and beyond the reach of many. What we call understanding is still only the beginning. Much remains obscure. Much still lies beyond the horizon of the human race yet to come. It is towards this greater horizon that Kabbalah has always sought to direct man, not away from life, but deeper into it.
The writings and observations shared here are offered in that spirit. The principles explored are timeless, recurring throughout history in different forms and through entirely different people but once recognised, they begin to appear everywhere.
Take from this only what rings true within you and leave the rest aside. Truth cannot be forced upon an individual before its time. Yet if these pages encourage even a deeper reflection upon life, nature, consciousness, and humanity’s place within the vastness of existence, then they will have served their purpose for now. So let the good hand take this and give it to whoever is seeking.
